Ambassador Program
The Chamber Ambassadors is a group of dedicated Chamber members who have chosen to spend a significant amount of their time as the goodwill arm of the Wake Forest Chamber. Each Ambassador is assigned a group of “buddy” Chamber members with whom they keep in touch throughout the year. They volunteer at Chamber events, educate their buddies about the Wake Forest Chamber and its programs and benefits, attend ribbon cutting ceremonies for member businesses, and seek feedback from their buddies regarding ways to improve Chamber services and benefits. At the same time, Ambassadors benefit from networking and building new relationships with their buddies and with fellow Ambassadors. The Ambassadors are known throughout the Wake Forest area as the friendliest and hardest working volunteers in the business community. They often go on to become leaders in the Chamber, as well as business and civic leaders.

If you would like to be a Chamber Ambassador then download and complete the Ambassador Application and Ambassador Expectations forms and return the completed forms to the Wake Forest Chamber. Contact the Chamber at mary@wakeforestchamber.org with any questions about the Ambassador Program.

Ambassador of the Month

Adam Floyd, Coldwell Banker Advantage

Adam is new to the Ambassador Program having just been named an Ambassador in January of 2008.  “Upon becoming an Ambassador with the Chamber, my first goal was to become Ambassador of the Month.  My second goal is to get Chamber members who aren’t utilizing the membership benefits more involved to better their businesses.”

Having worked in the Wake Forest real estate industry for nearly 6 years, Adam enjoys working in the New Construction and Residential Re-sale aspects of the business.  “Having listings that are new construction, I often have to help people sell the home they’re moving from in order to make the move into the newly-built home.  I really enjoy that challenge.”

In addition to being Ambassador of the Month, Adam was recently accepted into the first class of the Triangle Realtor Leadership Academy.  This spans over the entire 2008 calendar year and will be completed in December.  Only 13 other agents were accepted into the program.

Adam, his wife Kristin & their dog Diamond live just east of Wake Forest on Highway 98 and are currently building a new home.  In his spare time, Adam enjoys playing with his niece Abigail & nephew Nicholas, playing guitar & video games, and cooking.  Adam is finishing up his final season of playing ice hockey with his team at The Factory Icehouse.

Congratulations Adam and thank you for your efforts on behalf of the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce.
