Chamber VP Named ACCE Fellow and Foundation Executive Director

​Corey Hutcherson, VP of Operations for the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce, was recently selected to participate as a Fellow for the sixth cohort of the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) Fellowship for Education & Talent Development (ETD). 

The cohort allows 20 participants from around the country to attend two in-person meetings where they will engage in facilitated education and talent development consultations, gain exposure to best practices and case studies, interact with national experts, and build a strong peer-to-peer network. Furthermore, ACCE will provide support to further develop and execute specific educational attainment and talent development objectives of each participant. Finally, between sessions, the ETD team will provide robust professional development support including peer-connection calls, webinars, access to content experts and best practice examples.  The entire program will run from August 2019 through May 2020.

In addition to this recognition, Corey was also recently named the Executive Director of the Wake Forest Chamber Foundation for Common Progress. Corey, has worked for the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce since 2013 and started out as Membership Development Director.
