• 9 month program in which participants build lasting
relationships with other motivated members of the community.
• Learn about the historical significance contributing to
Wake Forest’s uniqueness as a community.
• Participants connect with Local leaders and gain greater
insight of the decision making process.
• Gain greater understanding about issues facing the
Wake Forest community and the best ways of getting involved
to make a difference.
Golf Tournament
• One of two major investment events for the Chamber
• Held in September/October
• Open to anyone who wants to play or volunteer
• Valuable sponsorship and promotion opportunities
Community Business Expo
• Annual marketing event for Chamber members only
• Held in the Fall
• Professional trade-show set up
• Brings 1200-1500 people through for the day
Spelling Bee
• Annual fundraiser for teacher grant program
• Organized by the Education Committee
• Businesses may enter a team, or sponsor a school team,
or simply donate to the fund
• Teachers fill out a grant application which is reviewed
by committee
• All money raised goes to teachers at local schools for
educational projects
Reverse Raffle
• 2nd of two major investment events for the Chamber
• Held in March
• 299 tickets sold for $100
• Last ticket drawn wins $7500
• There is also a “side board” drawing – chance to win
$2500 more
Elected Officials Reception
• A time for our members to meet face to face with our local,
state and federal officials
• Organized by the Government Affairs Committee who
present their accomplishments and goals
Economic Development Forum
• The state of our economy in Wake Forest
• The Economic Development committee presents their
accomplishments and goals.
Meet In The Street
• Community event held first Saturday in May
• Street festival downtown – arts/crafts/entertainment/food
• Sponsorships open to members for additional community
exposure.

• Annual celebration of Chamber accomplishments (end of May)
• Annual awards presented
